Gone but never forgotten,our beautiful little princess.Not a day goes by when we dont think of you sweetheart,you are on my mind when I wake & last thing before I sleep,keep a cloud warm for me darling...till we can be together again...
Our little Angel was sadly born asleep due to a placental abruption at 38 weeks.I had no symptoms & at a routine antenatal check up,the midwife could not find my babys heartbeat.I went in the next day to give birth to our little princess asleep...she was beautiful...I find it so hard that she looked so perfect & weighed 7lbs but yet she was taken....we buried her & she has a beautiful teddy bear headstone...I found that this...as well as time....does help to heal....although you never ever forget the pain....time does help...for those that have suffered the same ....xxx

I stood beside your bed last night,
I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying,
quietly in your sleep.
I touched you softly
as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you,
I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast,
I watched you pour coffee,
You were thinking of how much you
love and long to hold me.
I was with you at the store today,
Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels,
I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today,
You tend it with such care.
I want to reassure you,
that I'm not really there.
I walked with you to the house,
as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my hand on you,
I smiled and said "it's me."
You looked so very tired,
and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know,
that I was standing there.
It's possible for me to be
so near you every day.
To say to you with certainty,
"I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then
smiled, I think you knew,
In the stillness of that evening,
I was very close to you.
The day is over, I smile and watch
you yawning and say
"goodnight, God bless,
I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you
to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and
we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to
show you, there is so much for you to see.
Be patient, live your journey out
then come home to be with me.
I carried you so lovingly
within my gentle womb...
And little did I realize
your life would end so soon.
I never got the chance to say,
"I love you, little one"...
Before I held you in my arms,
your life on earth was done.
The grief is indescribable,
to lose a child this way...
All the many hopes and dreams
were vanished on that day.
I know I'll see the sun so bright
upon my baby's face...
When I finally get to Heaven,
my pain will be erased.
We'll soar the skies together,
as angels two by two...
We'll have a sweet reunion;
a mother's dream come true
